We will be sharing all the awesome art, crafts, and fashion-y bits we catch floating around the interwebs.

There will also be periodic updates on what's going on in the Honey Thistle workshop, including tutorials, contests, and new product ideas.

Feel free to wander around and poke at things.

I honestly don’t know how I lived my life till now without a garland hanging about - and you will too once you make this. The materials are simple, and it’s a relatively quick craft (about one episode of dexter should cover it) so it fulfills any instant gratification needs you may have ;)

You need: a thick needle, some beads (I like the rustic feel of wood but feel free to use anything else), string (again, I love hemp but use anything you like), and some paper origami hearts from this tutorial here. I’m using some newspaper squares I cut out from last week’s paper - yay for reusing :)

1. Poke a hole at the two “tops” of all your hearts - wiggle your needle around to create bigger holes if you’re using a thick string/cord.

2. Thread your heart.

3 & 4. I looped around the bead because I wanted to keep it in place & not have it move around. However, if you like your beads to move around depending on how you’re hanging it, just thread it through and forget about the loop.

5. I looped around the 2 beads at the end & not the middle to save string - it accomplishes the same effect.

6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 until you run out of hearts.

Voila!
