Shipping & Purchase Policies

 

Pertaining to COVID-19: All orders are currently being safely processed & shipped out twice a week.

Please allow for shipping delays due to the massive volumes of mail that our postal services are all currently processing. Should you not receive your package after 4 weeks (Canadian orders) or 6 weeks (US orders) once the order has been marked as shipped, please send me an email at wei@honeythistle.com and I will do my best to follow up with the post office.

Will my order be tracked?

All orders will automatically come with tracking.

When will my order arrive?

All Canadian orders will be shipped with Canada Post, and should arrive within 1 - 3 weeks after you have received your shipping notification. They’re currently experiencing high volumes of mail due to Covid-19, so there’s no guarantee for timeliness. Your order will come with tracking, so that is the best way to find out when your order may arrive.

All U.S. orders will be shipped through USPS via a Canadian courier, or through Canada Post, and they should arrive within 3 weeks. Again, Covid-19 has meant a record amount of mail, and as USPS is currently going through some management and system issues, this timeline may be extended. Your order will come with tracking, so that’s the best way to find out when your order will arrive.

If your order is a gift, or needs to arrive by a certain date, then please give yourself plenty of time receive the package. Express mail is unreliable at this time, so we are only offering regular shipping. If you order prior to reading this policy, and would like to cancel your order due to time constraints, please email us at wei@honeythistle.com within 24 hours of placing your order with the order details, and we will cancel it for you, thanks!

The item I ordered did not meet my expectations, what can I do?

Firstly, I’m very sorry that this is the case! Should you receive an item that is broken (due to some mishap during the shipping process), please take a photo of the item and contact me at wei@honeythistle.com within 3 days of receipt. I will sort it out for you ASAP!

If you purchased an item that is not broken, but did not meet your expectations in other ways, I am happy to offer either an exchange or refund for the item in its original condition and packaging. Please contact me within 3 days of receipt, and mail back the item in question within 30 days of receipt to the address I will provide for you. Return shipping cost is the buyer’s responsibility.

I am unable to refund the original shipping cost, and any duties or fees incurred for international shipments. You may request a refund from your own governmental import agency for duties, where available.

The following items can’t be returned or exchanged due to their nature:

  • Earrings (for health/hygiene reasons)

  • Items that are on sale

  • Custom items made specifically for you (when available)

Will my purchase be gift ready?

All of my items will come packaged safely within a paper gift box or a stamped cotton bag. If you are sending the item(s) directly to the giftee, I can add a short custom message from you at no additional cost :)

That being said, I do use recycled packaging (gently used shipping boxes, padding, etc) whenever possible, so please be aware of this prior to ordering!

Which countries do you ship to?

I currently ship to all Canadian & US addresses, as well as the following international destinations:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain.

I hope to offer shipping to more countries soon, when I find affordable tracked shipping services for them, or sort out the VAT rules (such as the UK).

Can I cancel my order?

Yes if it is a physical order - please contact me within 24 hours of placing your order to cancel it. If you have received a shipping notification for the order, then I can no longer cancel it.

Digital orders (PDF tutorial downloads, patterns, etc.) cannot be cancelled.

I have allergies - what is your workspace like?

I work in a smoke-free environment with a cute kitty. I inspect all my pieces before sending them out, but please be aware if you are allergic to cats!

Can I order a custom item?

I’m currently not accepting any custom or personalized orders so that I can focus on more personal work - sorry!
